Teo wants nothing more to investigate the remains of the skeletons, but the pain has finally set in from the arrow. He tries to see if there's anything he can do to help himself [Heal Check] but is not sure what he could do with such a grave wound.
After hearing Hans yell out, Teo bellow back "Decidedly NOT alright, my friend."

Orgoth may not show it, but he is in pain. The arrow nicked him pretty good, and when he takes of his piece of armor that was supposed to cover that place he realizes he is in no way competent to deal with these wounds. He goes over to the closest person to him, Leath. It pains him to ask for help, but the wound pains him more. He asks him,"Would you help Orgoth? Orgoth not smart to deal with wound this big." He looks at his feet while doing so. He has never been in a situation were he had to ask for help.

It felt good helping to kill that skeleton. It has been a long time since Leath has been in combat, and some of Orgoth's bloodlust rubbed off on him, recalled the bizarre instinctual satisfaction that comes with slaying a true enemy and saving oneself from danger. Of course, had it not been for Orgoth and his axe, Leath may not have been saved from danger at all, killed by the first skeleton that came their way. He looks at his wound and at Orgoth's, knowing he only has the energy for one healing spell. Orgoth's looks slightly worse than his own, and besides, the half-orc saved his life. "Sure. I owe you one," Leath says. Rolling up his sleeves, he lays his hands upon Orgoth's wound and channels his healing powers.

Hans peeks his head around the tree and sees the injured members of the party. He outwardly cringes but is secretly very grateful that the party was hurt but not him. He cautiously enters the open road keeping a wary eye on the forest on the other side.
While usually he would save his healing abilities for himself, he wants to convince the group that he also is a do-gooder. He begins to talk to Teo in a soothing voice. The words are indistinct but Teo feels the pain slowly subside as Hans continues.

"We may not be so lucky next time... I recommend a healthy dose of suspicion and cynicism while approaching 'damsels in distress.' Not that we shouldn't check it out when someone is calling, but we walked right into that one."
Milford watches Teo's wounds dissipate from his flesh. Seems this Hans fellow can heal.
[Just a reminder that clerics can use channel energy for free heals to conserve their spells for other uses so you don't feel like a healbot all the time heh]

[Leath fully heals Orgoth, and Teo is healed 5 hp.]
Orgoth watches as his scarred flesh knits and mends itself at a rate that could only be described as miraculous. The half orc also notices Hans patching up Teo, although he still has a scar on his stomach.
While pain overcame Teo for a long time, he now only feels a mild burn where the arrow used to be. He looks at the remains of the scattered skeletons, and notices something. The bones do not quite match each other, and seemed to have been crudely forced into joints and connections one would not find in nature. The other skeletons have a similar, almost ramshackle "construction," made of multiple bones rather than a single individual's remains. Teo has heard of necromancers performing such things, especially when they did not have access to complete skeletons. Wherever the skeletons came from, their donor likely has a large amount of bones.
---
The weapons and armor that the four skeletons used were largely similar archaic and rusted armor with round shields. Their swords were of a similar quality (or lack therefore of), and might be worth more to a collector than warrior. The dead archer, however, has a longbow, some rations, a small coin purse, half a dozen arrows, and an ill-maintained suit of leather armor. Further down the road, the strange javelin still emits dying embers from beneath the spear point.

The first thought going through the ranger's mind when the enemy retreated was to track them down. Capturing one of them could prove to be really helpful into this investigation... But looking around to check on everyone's situation, he realizes that healing the wounds is much more essential.
Elgeon decides to let the more proficient at healing do their thing. He starts walking towards the dead enemy archer to retrieve his arrow. Passing next to Milford he gives him a friendly tap in the back, acknowledging the man's acuity when he helped him kill the skeleton back there.
Then the ranger decides to retrieve the javelin. "This one seems special..."

[I've only ever played 4e before where there's an abundance of healing surges. Is it normal to have Teo walk around at 7/8 HP? Or would I do whatever it takes to get him back to full?]
Teo is truly grateful for Hans's help and lets him know loudly and often.
He also frequently compliments anyone and everyone who had anything to do with the triumphant battle. "Bravo, Orgoth! Bravo!" "Elgeon, you certainly showed that brigand what a real archer can do!"
He also asks Milford for tips on how he was able to produce a more damaging spell, as Teo's missile seemed weak by comparison.
He spends a long time investigating the skeletal remains and is more intrigued than ever. He communicates to the rest of the group that the bones appear to be from different skeletons, though he is not familiar enough with necromancy to know whether that is a helpful bit of knowledge. Regardless of its use, however, he feels reinvigorated after being healed and learning new information.

[Teo's HP will only matter if he gets into another combat on the current in game day. Otherwise, I'll assume he's been healed to full "off screen."]
Elgeon approaches the javelin, still trailing wisps of smoke. His keen senses pick up the stench of rotten eggs as he approaches it. The javelin is slightly shorter than average, but by itself is otherwise unremarkable. The interesting part, however, is an object positioned next to the head. The artifact appears to be the source of the strange smells and smoke, and resembles the bell-like one that Anafesto showed them back in Venice. The large open end is positioned away from the head, from which wisps of smoke are escaping.

"Thank you," Orgoth says, and nods. He walks over to Teo. "Say, little-man, shouldn't us burn these?," he points at the remains of the skeletons, "If someone made bones walk, he do again no? We stop it before happening." He picks up one of the bone, inspects it, and then breaks it over his leg. He looks over to Elgeon, but doesn't really care for whatever the spear is.

Hans smiles at Teo and says "Any time friend, any time."
He then turns to Milford and nods, "I would never suggest that we ignore the plea of a maiden in distress" Hans lies solemnly, "But caution is not often a bad thing."
He then goes to inspect the bandit's corpse, giving it a careful jab with his rapier to make sure it won't stand up again. He looks to see whether there are any items that might give information as to who his assailants are, but also if any of the bandit's garb could make Hans into a convincing bandit.
He then yanks the bow from a stiff lifeless hand with a grimace before taking the arrows, coins and rations, distributing the coin amongst the party and offering the arrows to Elgeon asking him if he can make any use of them. The rations Hans keeps to himself.
He turns the bow over as he walks, looking to see whether it has any unexpected value.

Milford is flattered that his advice is requested, and tries not to show it.
How does he produce his magic? He looks a little perplexed on what to say about it.
"To tell you the truth Teo... as far as how I cast spells, its purely by instinct alone. I suspect I draw my power's from the sea, given my... connection," against his better judgement, he shows Teo his amulet, "And of course how they look and feel while they manifest. If I had to provide some criticism, I would say your placement needs work. A good center-shot from an arcane bolt is usually better than a graze. No small amount of luck is involved, too."

[If Teo is anywhere near the smoldering javelin, he instinctively does an Appraise Check on it. Though he is uninterested in monetary gains, the habits of his storekeeper parents are still engrained in him.]
Teo doesn't know very much about necromancy, hence his budding interest. He's disappointed he can't answer Orgoth, but combs his mind for useful information on the subject... [Spellcraft Check here to determine what goes into casting these types of necromantic rituals? Mostly to find out if they still need be concerned with the scattered remains.]
Teo is amazed that Milford's arcane abilities seem very similar to his own. He is also relieved that he is not the only magic user here with an informal background as the others seem so composed. He quietly speaks to Milford, "Interesting! You have your amulet there, I have..." he foolishly looks around for the ephemeral spirits he's never laid eyes on, "friends as well. We're much more similar than I guessed!"

It took a bit of time for her to feel it was safe to leave cover but when she does she seems perfectly composed. She has a quick silent chat with Azreal before they join the others that seem to be huddled near the spear that almost Impaled her..
"I hope everything is well." She say to them with a note of concern in her voice but her eyes still seem to occassionally glance to the weapon.Azreal for his part seems to have returned to be the silent companion standing vigilant behind her.

Teo muses about necromancy, but realizes the easiest way to keep skeletons from being reanimated would be to bury with magical protection or destroy them, or more simply, stop the necromancer. He imagines Orgoth, and perhaps the druid, would be rather keen on that last bit.
[Spellcraft roll of 10, 4+6. Appraisal roll of 16, 10+6.]
Teo looks over the strange javelin, however, and notes a few things. The actual javelin itself would only be about 1 gp, but the bell-shaped artifact might be about 20 gp in terms of construction. He does note that it is almost identical to the one he handled at Anafesto's estate, only this has an acrid stench of sulfur and rotten eggs, as well as being full of some powdery, black ash and wet residue. Whatever it is, it now seems inert and mostly harmless. Perhaps someone in Scalo Est will be able to better assist them.
Off in the distance, the sounds of the retreating bandits vanish entirely.
